Rosetta Stone feels like I'm guessing?

I just got rosetta stone, and I'm trying to learn russian. I started the first lesson, and it feels like their taking the immersion thing a little too far. There isn't a spec of english in the entire thing, leaving me feel like I'm making educated guesses. I'm already on lesson 2, and haven't really learned anything. Does is slowly get easier, or more understandable as I go on?
